  1. Regarding Divinity Original Sin 2 new players being lost, isn’t there a “story mode” difficulty? I think it was a selection, but i may be wrong. I don’t know if that difficulty is more new player friendly or not, maybe i should check it out.

I agree that it does not lead you around through the quest lines, but there are options to figure things out. The journal captures the basics of the quest and there is a dialogue tab that you can look back at, but i don’t know if you can sort it by quest or not.

This game is set up expecting players to talk to everybody, which leads to additional details about quests, or new quests, or an opposing side of a quest.

There is no wrong way to play the game (i’m sure there will be plenty of people to say that only certain character builds are viable, but i play the character the way that i choose. Yes this can make it more difficult, but I am stubborn that way ๐Ÿ˜€ )

Thanks for letting me state my 2 cents.

    • Thanks for stating your 2 cents! It’s very possible this was just one exemple where things just didn’t go right for me (although I also have issues with the ways the combat system is introduced), but it’s also possible that kind of gameplay / mechanics just isn’t for me. Which is fine too; thankfully different people like different things, and there are many many people who love Divinity… ๐Ÿ™‚
