Hello notpatrick.
Love the show and his concept.
About Irak and Darfour you were wonder why is there a difference in the public opinion. From my point of view. The community is more encline to do something in Darfour because it comes from an international organism who is supposed to be kind of neutral i think. but in the case of irak most people were against the idea of invasion or his president destitution because this came from the US government (bush). And i think i can say that the us government at that time was not the most popular. So having a government telling the community what to do was not well received . So the opposition for the invasion/action against irak was more an opposition to the fact that they don't want to be told what to do by a country who refused to listen or sign traity/document who can benefit the world for example. Why would they listen to the US arguments about Irak.
I hope i was not to confusing :)
About the sweeden stereotype , do you know where in montreal you can find the biggest concentration of French immigrant?.....At IKEA lol
You can find me there too often :)
Salut a bientot

A great show! This was my first time listening to the podcast but I can honestly say I will now be a regular listener! It does however worry me that my ipod is full of Patrick's podcasts...Where will I find the time to listen to all of them!

Thanks very much Maria, Charles and Patrick.

I believe we had more than an Earth Hour here on the streets of sunny London. To do our part our town decided to have convenient power cuts throughout the week. It can't just be a coincidence.

In regards to Maria's comment about bankers accepting bonuses. I still think that if you were handed the money you would not be able to say no! If someone wanted to gift you money could you really say that you would turn it away even if you knew it could benefit you and your family?

Oh and on the topic of Eurovision, I think the UK gave up on that a while ago judging by our more recent results...

Thanks again and i'll look forward to next month!

Another great episode. The earth hour thing so good to bring attention to global warming and other issues but it also highlights peoples misunderstanding of energy. The Hotel in Singapore that turned off all the AC for an hour will have used more energy by letting the rooms warm up for an hour then cooling them all back down than if they had kept them at an even temperature for earth hour.

Especially since Putin isn't really gone at all and should be re-elected next time. If I were them, I'd start packing my bags and move to a country a lot farther from Mother Russia's missiles...

Great to see that a new show is up, I now have something to do tonight. No Turki this month? I will miss his candor and honesty even though his assumptions about living in the United States occasionally drive me mad. The guy always makes me laugh though. Thanks Patrick! I wish you would do this show more often.

Hello Nice Show as always!!

Don't take it bad but I'm happy not to see Turki this time, not that I was tired of him or his humor, but it's nice to see that you are changing a bit of panelist in your show and especially Sweden when you live in Norway :)

I didn't finish yet to listen to the show but I stopped my listening when hearing about the "Melody Grand Prix" or "Eurovision" in the show, and so I watch the video. I don't think there is anything offensive in the video and was actually quite impress by the Kasaks (not sure about the wording here) dancers. However I may have a clue why the Russian diplomacy get offended when around 2:50 the singer is saying "Dasvidanya Poutin" (again sorry for the wording) or "Bye Bye (See you) Poutin".

That was maybe what has upset the Russian diplomacy.
