Ohh, AI is no chickflick, it’s a emotion centered movie, surely, emotions aren’t “girly”. Well, I’m sure you were teasing anyway.
My reactions to that movie was kinda awkward: I couldn’t get sad about the boy’s situation, it was a robot, and what was happening to him wasn’t revoltant, but I just didn’t want to see it. It was like seeing a abattoir, it’s not fun to see, but you accept they’re situation. I really hope there will be no anthropomorphic robots later on, it will be too disturbing.
And thank you for your review on District 9, I was waiting for it, to check if it weren’t a too much action based movie as the second trailer showed, and seems like I’m only going to enjoy the first documentary part. Oh well, it’s original enough to make it worth my time.
And just for a global reassuring for you Patrick, my tastes are pretty similar to yours, and my french blood is not the reason. But I need to admit that I once thought you were this elitist “film d’auteur” fan. But no, your just the one to trust.
Now September 9, can you come quicker please?
Dolph Lundgren? Oh jeez….when I get the question “oh, you’re swedish, name some famous Swedes!” (which ofc, happens all the time) Dolph is not someone I mention… there is stories about him having a double Masters though, so he might not be all muscle and no brains..
