I did see New Years Eve. From the school of totally obvious filmmaking, you can immediately see what each character wants or needs, and you are 1000% guaranteed that each will be resolved neatly at the end of the movie. I guess throwing a huge quantity of stars and dumb plotlines is an even trade for one good plot and a few stars in Garry Marshall’s playbook. Quantity over quality.
Definitely agree- see Love Actually instead.
Great to have you guys back. Very excited about the return of Quizzlers. However, you had actually used the Sixteen Candles one before.
Kudos to you for realising that the podcast couldn’t keep missing out Nicole. Also, please don’t spend too much time on comics stuff, as that’s not why most of us are listening (not that you did that this time, but it was suggested as a more common feature in the future).
Are you guys going to do a best of 2011 next time? What were the best woots and the worst mehs? Perhaps Turpster and Nicole could say a little more about the “Contagion” movie (as opposed to their different uses for handwash lol!).
