End of LineWell, all good things must come to an end, and How I Wow is no different. This is the final episode of this podcast, and what a great run it was…
Listen to Shawn, Patrick and our first ever guest Scott Johnson reflect on the history of the show and derail the conversation into podcasting and the podcasting community in general. We wouldn’t have expected any less from ourselves.

And on a personal note, I have to say that I love the way we finished the show. I couldn’t have thought of a better way to end it. :)

JoCoWe decided to do something special for the anniversary episode, and one reunion show wasn’t enough! So we bring you a second treat: an interview of someone who doesn’t play Wow at all, but is awesome nonetheless.
And we also have our usual banter at the end of the show, which we didn’t have on the last one. Enjoy!

A word from Patrick: I couldn’t have dreamt of a better way to celebrate this amazing year of How I Wow goodness. I think this show embodied everything that I like so much in podcasting: it’s about friends taking the time to come together to share a moment of pure enjoyable fun. I hope we will have many many more.
And for those who were in the chatroom and enjoyed the “director’s cut” version: thank you so much for being with us. The sole fact that we were sharing it with all of you made it what it was. :)

AlachiaFinally! After months of scheduling, hope, drama and disapointment, we sit dow with Alachia from Wowcast for a great talk about the game, the meta, and life in general.

Listen to the show:

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

You can also use iTunes, the RSS feed or the the MP3 file.

And remember: this is only a re-link! I will post here when we put a show out from now on, but the official How I Wow blog is still at howiwow.org. You’ll find all the previous episodes there, which include amazing guests like Veronica Belmont, Scott Johnson, The Spags, Randy Jordan, Tom Merritt, Curt Schilling and more!

And in case you have no idea what I’m talking about, here’s a short summary of what the show is:

Shawn Coons was bored. He wanted to do a show and talk about World of Warcraft. So that’s what we did, and we never thought it would turn into what it is today: an unmissable collection of talks about what it means to be a gamer today.
In each show we get a notable member of the community to open up and tell us about their experience both inside and outside of the game. From what motivates them in the game to how their families view their gaming habits, with a few digressions about the future of the internet, our society and the world.
If you’re tired of hearing the same old news show over and over again, How I Wow is for you. Good times are contractually guarantied.
