The Phileas Club 50 – Ebola… crisis?

Aaaand we’re back! As promised a few weeks ago and after two+ years off the air, we’re back to discuss important topics, from different viewpoints, and with the good spirit and humor that we’ve cherished since the beginning for the show.

This time, we cover Ebola, Russia, kids leaving the comfort of their western countries to do the jihad, and more.

  1. I did it ! I’m listening an english spoken podcast ! I’d never thought it would be possible one day… You made miracles… Keep on, i appreciate the show.

    • That makes me really glad. I wish there was more interaction between the two communities… Some people to cross over though, and that’s pretty awesome. 🙂

      • Speaking about interaction between the two communities : I’m frustrated of not having a link on each side of frenchspin for switching from one to the other. Am I the only one ?

      • Yeah, it’s on the (very long) todo list. 🙂

  2. I’ve just seen that when you click on the Phileas section of Frenchspin.com, this episode is not in the section.

  3. Good episode ! Thanks 🙂

  4. I’m so glad to have the Phileas Club back, and you back regularly on podcasts in general, Patrick. I have really enjoyed the discussions you’ve prompted among the panel members and this was another great episode. I’m happy to be a Top Hat sporting supporter.

    • Thank you so much for your support! And I really think that top hat suits you very much by the way. I’m just sayin’. 🙂

  5. Just an additional point of information on your final subject on nationals leaving to fight in Jihad. You may want to look up the continuing coverage from CBC The (Canadian Broadcast Company) and the reporter Adrian Arsonel, as she has been covering this ongoing subject. With what they estimate over 300 young Canadian men leaving to fight Jihad. And the 2 recent incidents involving the shooting at parlament and the soldier who was run over are linked in some degree to this very issue.

You may find this coverage interesting and informative. Thanks for the podcast, it’s an incredible show with a nice variety of perspectives. Thanks to everyone who was on your show today.
