The one anime I remember as a kid from Mexico in the 80’s was a show called “Battle of the Planets”
Yes! That one was very popular in France too. It’s called Gatchaman in Japanese, and I think there’s a project for a live action movie in Holywood or something?
There was a Japanese live-action version, but it was a prime example of the overly cheesy remake:
