Joystick motion legend
If you are not used to joystick motion description, you might want to read this or you may not
understand how the special move are done...
Note: This system is independant of the side you're facing; so there's no "assume facing right"
this time... ^_^
Each direction is represented by a letter: B: Back, meaning away from opponent F: Forward, meaning toward opponent D: Down U: Up
So of course, something like DB is a diagonal direction Down and Away
from opponent...
For a charging move, meaning you have to hold the stick in the position for 2 seconds,
you will see a (c) (for Charge) after the direction you have to hold.
And for buttons:
A small p means any punch, and a CAPITAL P means all punchs.
A small k means any kick, and a CAPITAL K means all kicks. LP stands for Light Punch, MP for Medium Punch and HP for Heavy Punch.
of course, the same goes for kicks...
NB: in super combos, I just use the small p and k, but of course you can push 1, 2 or all 3
of them to get a level 1, 2 or 3 SC.
In super combos, moves are often repeted twice. It goes like this: (XXX)*2
This means the "XXX" motion should be repeated twice.
Here are 2 examples to illustrate the legend:
- A Hadoken (FB) is done like this: D DF F + p. This means to push the stick down, then
diagonaly down forward, and finaly forward and a press on a punch button.
- A Shinkuu Hadoken (super combo FB) goes: (D DF F)*2 + p. So you do twice the motion of a
standard fireball, and then press a punch.
